Nicole Pelland

Nicole Ann Bottoms Pelland, 41, of Statesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 1 at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Nicole was born on January 6, 1983, to Tom Bottoms and Karen McClure, who survive.

She is a graduate of Southview Christian School and attended Beulah Baptist Church. Nicole worked as a CNA. She was always happy and loving, and she enjoyed bowling and traveling.

In addition to her parents, Nicole is survived by her son, Samuel Pelland; stepmother, Christina Bottoms; stepfather, Garry McClure; sisters, Patricia Bottoms and Catherine Fuller; fiancé, John Fontanilla, nephew, Christian Milski; niece, Elyssa Keller; uncle, Joe Bottoms; cousins, Tammy Horn and Jeff Horn.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 2:00 pm at Concord Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Liz Troyer officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
