Nannie Mae Willoughby Thomas

Nannie Mae Willoughby Thomas, 89, passed away on May 21, 2026.

Nannie was born in Pink Hill, NC on June 30, 1936, to the late Richard Herman Willoughby and the late June Boyette. She lived in Hartly, Delaware for over 60 years before moving back home to North Carolina.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Harold Hoover Thomas; sons, Curtis Stanley Thomas (Renee) and Ricky Dale Thomas (Joyce); grandchildren, Christian, Neil, Michelle and David; great-grandchildren, Colton, Lily, Walter, Emmett and Martin; and multiple nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dick, Walter and Mildred.

A private graveside funeral service will be held at the National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.

Arrangements for Mrs. Thomas are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
