Mildred Elaine VanDorn Hahn was born on July 5th, 1945 in Morrow Co., Ohio. At age 18 she left the farm for New York City, to be a secretary at Dun & Bradstreet. She has loved the city ever since. A few years later she served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kentucky and Tennessee. She loved to serve so much that later in life she spent 2 years serving at the Bishop's Storehouse. Some of her favorite things are books, puzzles, cookie dough, and spending time with friends and family. She recently celebrated 50 years married to the love of her life.
She passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, on July 11th, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Robert David Hahn; her 4 children, Kathryn Guin, Jared Hahn (Mitzi), Amy Christensen (Tobias), and Joseph Hahn (Jennifer); 2 step-children, Paula Smith (Chris) and David Hahn (Debra); 4 siblings, 21 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
