Mildred Moore

Mildred McAlister Moore, 73, of Mooresville passed away, Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mildred was born February 7, 1951 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Archie and Evelyn Covington McAlister. She attended Troutman Schools and graduated from South Iredell High School. On June 25, 1972, she married Jimmy Michael Moore, who survives and together they have three sons. She attended Beulah Heights Wesleyan Church after the family moved to Troutman in January 1952. She was retired from Iredell Statesville School System as a Cafeteria Manager.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jimmy Michael Moore II of Troutman, Justin Moore (Hannah) of Statesville, Joseph Moore (Larisa) of Statesville; five grandchildren, Emma Caroline Moore, Jaxon Carter Moore, Jeremiah Kole Moore, Lucian Michael Moore, Linkoln Elias Moore; three brothers, William McAlister, Melvin McAlister, Milton McAlister, one sister, Joyce Rogers and many nieces.

A celebration of life service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Beulah Heights Wesleyan Church. The family will receive friends Friday evening March 8, 2024 6:00-8:00pm in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
