Mildred Ann (Sutton) Jones

Mildred Ann Sutton Jones, of Troutman, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Born in Bryson City, NC, along with 10 siblings, Mildred was the daughter of the late Adam and Elvira Sutton.

She was the wife of Kenneth Venston Jones, who survives. She attended Bright Light Baptist Church and Houston Road Baptist Church. Mildred was a kind-natured lady who loved her family, and she enjoyed flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed visit her hometown in the mountains whenever possible.

Mildred is also survived by her son, Randy Jones (Deloris), of Statesville; granddaughter, Savannah Jones (Tracey Lawing, mother); step grandchildren, Ashley Myers and Zachary Calhoun; great grandchildren, Addilyn, Olivia, and Abygale.

A memorial service will be held, Friday, November 1, 2024, at 12:00 pm, noon at Troutman Funeral Home to celebrate the life of Kenneth and Mildred Jones.
