Michelle Plumley Cunningham

Twila Michelle Plumley Cunningham, 43, formerly of Landrum, SC, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Autumn Care of Statesville. She was born on September 18, 1968 in Landrum, SC to the late William Malcolm Plumley and Joyce Flynn Jones. She is survived by her stepmother, Brenda Howell Plumley of Mooresville; her sister, Calista Plumley Brown and husband, Andre, of Landrum, SC; her niece and nephew, Katelynn and Cade Brown of Landrum, SC; her stepfather, Steve Jones of Landrum, SC; her maternal grandmother, Valarie Flynn Francis of Landrum, SC; many loving cousins; and especially the Plumleys of Colorado. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Rena Ross "Granny" Plumley; her paternal grandfather, George Francis Plumley; and her maternal grandfather, Ralph Flynn. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville with the Rev. Dr. Steve Gouge and the Rev. Hal Greene officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Landrum, SC. Pallbearers will be Wayne Abercrombie, Jerry Gwen, Sam Davis, Billy White, Harry Carberry, Dave Shipley, Tom Nixon and Andy Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be the caregivers from Autumn Care of Statesville. Memorials may be made to the "Happiness Class" of Southside Baptist Church, 525 S. Broad St., Mooresville, NC 28115. A special thank you from Michelle’s family to the "Autumn Care of Statesville family" for the love, care, friendship and excellent care they gave Michelle over the past ten years.
