Michael Duane Parker

Michael Duane Parker, 60, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at home on January 7, 2026.

Michael was born on March 3, 1965, in Statesville. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and the freedom of riding his Harley. He was a supervisor in commercial and residential HVAC plus aspects of construction.

He is survived by his mother and father, Jerry and Trudy Parker, and his brother, Terry Parker (Teresa Barber); his fiancé, Tami Nesbit; uncles, Allen Sells (Lynda) and Vincent Sells; several other aunts and uncles and cousins, as well as a fur baby, Bandit.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Kenneth Sells, and several other aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 11 in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel.
