Michael D'Agostino

Mr. Michael D’Agostino, 72 of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 24, 2023.

Michael was born November 5, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY.  He was the son of the late Michael D’Agostino and Edna Helbig D’Agostino.  He was a graduate of Brooklyn City Schools and made his career as an operations manager with Acme Office Group and Flush Metal.  Michael was married to his beloved wife Jane Folkman D’Agostino, who survives.  He was a talented artist; master woodworker, gifted magician and could fix anything.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie D’Agostino Marasuilo.

Those left to cherish the life and memory of Michael D’Agostino include his loving wife of 35 years, Jane, his children, Michael D’Agostino, Franny (John Merritt) D’Agostino, Catherine D’Agostino and Emily D’Agostino. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, Michael (Zoe), John, Justin, Charlie, Joshua, Adrien, Julia, Gianna and Brodi.  His sister, Phyllis D’Agostino Carpinelli, numerous nieces and nephews and an insurmountable number of friends also remain to cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to make memorials are asked to consider a donation in Michael’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
