Michael James Cavin

Feb. 4, 1966 - June 7, 2014 Michael James Cavin, 48, of Troutman, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014. He was born in Iredell County on February 4, 1966 to Charles Steven and Diane Mullis Cavin. Michael was a loving husband, son, father, brother and uncle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kim Moore Cavin; sons, Tanner Michael and Landon Alexander Cavin of the home; sister, Amy Cavin Hauser and husband, Todd, of Troutman; brother, Charles Steven (Steve) Cavin, Jr. of Statesville; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services for family will be held in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 10 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Trent Patterson officiating. A visitation for family and friends will follow the services from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the chapel.
