Michael Wayne Barnes

Michael Wayne Barnes, 55, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday July 12, 2017. Michael was born on December 2, 1961 in Burlington, NC. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen Lyall Barnes; father, George (Margie) Barnes Sr.; mother, Carolyn (Rodney) McNeely; son, Duane (Angel) Barnes; daughter, Stacey Settlemyer; sister, Gwen (Lynn) Locke; and four grand-children, Kennedy, Audrey, Kylie, and Zachary. Michael was preceded in death by one brother, George Barnes Jr. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Iredell Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Mills officiating. Troutman Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Michael Barnes.
