Maxine Jane (Ostwalt) Warren

Maxine Jane Ostwalt Warren of Statesville, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

Mrs. Warren was born in Iredell County, the daughter of the late Tate and Rubie (Clodfelter) Ostwalt.  She was a graduate of Troutman High School, where she served as class Salutatorian, Captain of the Girls basketball team and Editor of the High School Annual.  Maxine made her career as the office manager of G&M Sales Company.   She was a lifelong fan of basketball, especially the UNC Tarheels

In addition to her parents Maxine was preceded in death by her son Larry Warren, her sister Matoka Ostwalt Mullis, and her brother Conrad Ostwalt.

Those left to cherish the life and legacy of Maxine Warren are her son Brent Warren and his wife, Carolyn along with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm, Friday, June 2, 2023, at Troutman First United Methodist Church, the Reverend Jeff Hamrick and the Reverend Doctor Conrad Ostwalt, Jr. officiating.  A private family burial will be held prior to the funeral service.  The family will greet friends following the funeral service.
