Mary Belle Lippard Mesiemore, 86, of Statesville, passed away, Monday, April 29, 2019 at Maple Leaf Healthcare.

Mrs. Mesiemore was born August 20, 1932 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Mary Pearl Lippard. She was a graduate of Celeste-Henkel High School, class of 1950 and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She previously worked for Barium Springs Home for Children and Troutman Industry as a Secretary. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) Llederi Chapter of Statesville and also held several committee positions over her 20 plus years membership.

She was a Godly Mother to her children and grandchildren. Her legacy will be her Christian influence as seen through her children and grandchildren. Being a devout prayer warrior, we take comfort in knowing she is with her Lord and Savior. The family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers throughout this time of loss of our devoted Mother, Mary Belle Mesiemore.

She is survived by three children, Connie M. Dellinger (Jackie) of Statesville, Mary Lisa M. Lee (Rev. Jack Lee) of Raleigh, Roger Glenn Mesiemore (Maria) of Lake Wylie, SC; three grandchildren, Amy Dellinger Brookins (Aaron) of Mocksville, Giovanni Mesiemore of Lake Wylie, SC, Mary Elisabeth Lee of Raleigh; great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Haskell Lippard (Doris) of Statesville and one sister, Aileen Lippard Rimmer of Statesville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, May 3, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with son-in-law, Rev. Jack Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Mesiemore will lie in state from 1:30 till the funeral hour. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening 6:00-8:30 pm at Bethel Baptist Church and at other times will assemble at the home of Jackie and Connie Dellinger.
