Mary Jane Heavener Wilson, 86, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House.
Mary was born May 5, 1940, in Cleveland County, and was the daughter of Von and Bessie Worthey Heavener.
Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her husband, Jerry Gates Wilson; daughter, Wanda Triplett; sons, Joey Wilson, Phillip Wilson and Tim Wilson; and niece, Elizabeth Morrison.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 15 in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Talmadge Holler officiating. Burial will follow in Iredell Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
Arrangements for Mrs. Wilson are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
