Mary Ophelia Jones

Mary Ophelia Jones, 94, of Troutman, passed away, Friday, October 18, 2019 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Lester and Alice Jones of Lansing, NC. She was married to the late Roy Jones, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Bobby and Roy Jones, Jr., one sister, Marlene Groves, four grandchildren, Jeff Jones, Rhonda Tondo, Rusty Jones and JR Jones, III. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jones graduated from Davis Hospital Nursing School. Spending her career doing what she loved best; taking care of people. Her loving presence will remain forever close in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.

A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 am Thursday, October 24, 2019 at St. Michaels Cemetery, Troutman, NC with Rev. Mike Maffucci officiating.
