Mary Mckinney Howell

March 2, 1949 - January 22, 2014 Mary McKinney Howell, 64, of Statesville, passed away on January 22, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born on March 2, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Ralph and Mary McKinney and graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis in1967. She married Clive Howell in 1983 and they lived together in Reading, PA, for 27 years before relocating to Statesville, NC. Mary is survived by her husband, Clive, of Statesville, NC; two daughters, Betsy and Bonnie Zartman of Reading, PA; three sisters, Linda Wagner of Carmel, IN, Sandy Jay of Clayton, IN, and Kathy McKinney of Miami, FL; and a brother, Rick McKinney of Carmel, IN. She is also survived by triplet "grandchildren of her heart", Klara, Ian, and Nikolai Politanoff, of Shillington, PA and her "children with fur", Abbey and Peanut. A memorial service honoring the life of Mary McKinney Howell will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel.
