Mark Handy

Charlie Mark Handy, 51 of Statesville, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, in Hatteras, NC.

Mark was born and raised in Statesville NC. Mr. Handy loved sports and played football, soccer, baseball, golf, bowling, and pool. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan from an early age. Mr. Handy had a contagious smile and always had a way of making you laugh. Mark loved taking trips to the beach but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a very loving son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, grandfather, coworker, and friend.

Mark will be missed by all who knew him, especially his family and friends. He was never selfish and was always willing to share the glory with others. Mr. Handy was predeceased by his father Charlie O. Handy. Mr. Handy had one child, Talisha Handy-Kufeld (husband Wesley Kufeld) of Statesville, NC. In addition, he is survived by his mother Edith R. Handy of Statesville, NC and a brother Christopher S. Handy (his wife Heather) of Statesville, NC. Mr. Handy is also survived by three grandchildren Kynzlee, Adalise and Emerlyn. And several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20th from 3:00-6:00 pm at Northview Church of Christ in Troutman NC.
