Mark Hunter Gragg

Mark Hunter Gragg, 53, of Statesville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at his home.

Mark was born March 1, 1968, in Ronceverte, West Virginia, and was the son of Cuma Poe Flory (Frank) and Blaine Hunter Gragg, who survive.

Mark graduated from Statesville High School in 1986.  On Feb. 27, 1993, he married Lisa Janel Cashion Gragg, who survives.  Together they are members of Beulah Baptist Church.

Mark is survived by one child, Austin G. Reynaldo (Nickolas), and other family and friends.

Mark was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, son, and uncle.  Mark and Lisa were blessed to have 34 years together. Mark felt blessed having the light of his life, his daughter Austin Hunter, for 23 years. He was excited to welcome Nick as his son-in-law a little over a month ago.  He enjoyed fishing, sci-fi, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Family and friends are invited to join in a memorial service at Beulah Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021, with Brian Burgess officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beulah Baptist Church.
