Maria Taylor

Maria Ruth Rogers Taylor, 61, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Maria was born in Iredell County on January 29, 1964, to Martha Louise Young Rogers and the late Doyle Allen Rogers. She was a graduate of Statesville High School and Lenoir Rhyne College, where she received a degree in nursing.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by several uncles and aunts.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 22 years, David N. Taylor; her mother, Martha Y. Rogers; sister, Cynthia Callahan (Jeff); brother, William Rogers (Michelle); several nieces, nephews and cousins; in-laws, Keith and Carol Taylor.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 14 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. John Parks officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 13 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Troutman Funeral home.
