Margaret Lynne Miller Davis

Margaret Lynne Miller Davis, 85, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Margaret was born November 13, 1939, in Cumberland County, Illinois, to the late Samuel E. and Wilma Wilson Miller. She worked as a librarian for many years. She had a great love for animals and was actively involved with the Carolina Raptor Center, Lake Norman Humane Society and Piedmont Animal Rescue.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Davis and her daughter, Jeanette Lynne Jerome.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Harold Davis and her sister, Nancy Miller White.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 19 at the Troutman Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Lake Norman Humane Society, 2106 Charlotte Hwy. Mooresville, NC 28117, or Piedmont Animal Rescue, 228 E. Waterlynn Road, Mooresville, NC 28117.
