Lynn Holler Poole

Lynn Holler Poole, 70, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Lynn was born July 7, 1956, in Iredell County, and was the daughter of the late Henry Tate Holler and Anita Vithan Johnson Holler. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School and Mitchell Community College. She worked at People’s Bank for 50 years. She was loved by her coworkers and bank clients.

Left to cherish Lynn’s memory are her husband of 38 years, Rickey Poole; her sister, Jayne Chester (Jimmy); her brother, Tate Holler (Erica); nephews, Phillip Chester (Jackie), Lewis Holler (Sabrar); niece, Elizabeth Childers (Keith); great nieces, Emily and Lola and great nephews, Andrew and Camden.

The family will visit with friends Sunday, September 13, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 14, at Fairmount United Methodist Church with Dr. Mary John Dye, Rev. Philip Setzer, and Rev. Cokie Bristol officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairmount United Methodist Church, 266 Fairmount Road, Statesville NC 28625, or Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville NC 28625.
