Ludovico Cina

Sept. 30, 1925 - Feb. 15, 2015 Ludovico Cina, 89, of Statesville passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Ludovico was born in Palermo Sicily. He courageously came to America not knowing what awaited him but only trusting it would be a better life for his family. He was a beloved husband of nearly 60 years to Maria Cina and a loving father to Sarah, Dominick, Joseph and Diana. Ludovico lived a full and blessed life and had the joy of knowing 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was loved by all who met him and was known for his kindness, strength, charisma and wit. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20 at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21 in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Colvard officiating. Interment will follow the service in Iredell Memorial Gardens.
