Lucille (Morrow) Ervin

Mrs. Lucille Morrow Ervin, 87, of Troutman, passed away, Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Ervin was born December 18, 1930 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Otha and Grace Martin Morrow. She was a graduate of Troutman schools and was married to the late William “Bill” R. Ervin, who passed away, December 28, 2018. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Troutman, having served in the Woman’s Christian Ministry and helped her husband run Big Pit BBQ in Mooresville.

Mrs. Ervin is survived by one son, Rick Ervin and wife, Margo of Mooresville, one granddaughter, Sarah E. Harvey of Mooresville and one great granddaughter, Caitlyn Harvey of Mooresville. A special thanks goes to her caregiver, Roxy Bass.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Troutman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
