Louise Elaine Loftin

September 13, 1949 - June 8, 2017 Louise Elaine "Laney" Loftin, affectionately known as Elaine, 67, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday June 8, 2017 at Gordon Hospice House. She was born on September 13, 1949 in Iredell County to the late Harry Guy Loftin Sr. and Floy Douglas Loftin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Morrison. She attended Lifespan Enrichment Center for over 36 years. Elaine is survived by her sister, Joann Overcash; brother, Harry Loftin Jr. (Pat), and a special nephew Danny Overcash. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 10, 2017 beginning at 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Iredell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine’s memory may be made to Lifespan Enrichment Center, 147 Iredell Avenue, Troutman, NC 28166.
