Lorraine Ryan

Lorraine Dario Ryan, age 81, of Troutman, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. She was the wife of Daniel Ryan and the daughter of the late Louis and Lucille Russo Dario.

A graduate of Demerest High School, she was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville. She was retired as an administrative assistant in the retail industry.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Daniel Ryan; one son, Daniel Ryan; one daughter, Kathleen Hern; one granddaughter, Morgan Hern; and one grandson, Jake Hern. Also surviving are one sister, Carol Miller; one sister-in-law, Claire Dario; and several nieces and nephews. Lorraine dearly loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Dario.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens on a later date.
