Lois Nell Waugh Ervin

March 2, 1930 - April 11, 2013 Lois Nell Waugh Ervin, 83, of Mooresville, passed away at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center on Thursday, April 11, 2013. She was born on March 2, 1930 in Iredell County to the late Harley Waugh and Daisy Benfield Waugh. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgen Ervin; a sister, Camilla Loftin; and a brother Dan Waugh. Lois enjoyed quilting and collecting angels. She also liked to work outside in her flower beds. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Farris Ervin, of Mooresville; sons, Scott Ervin and wife, Becky, of Statesville and Craig Ervin of Troutman; grandson, Seth Ervin, his wife, Janet, and an expectant great-grandson; and granddaughter, Olivia Ervin; sisters, Ruby Shoemaker, Laine Sherrill (Larry) and Desolee Lindsey (Hubert) all of Statesville, and Betty Pope of Mooresville; brother, Jim Waugh of Lenior; and sister-in-law, Jane Waugh. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Pastor H. Cowles Bristol, III and Rev. Olin Isenhour officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services in the Christian Life Center at the church.
