Linda Jo Rivers Windsor

Linda Jo Rivers Windsor, 87, of Statesville, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, at Gordon Hospice House.

Born September 8, 1938, in Davidson County, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Roy Rivers and Nola Gibson Rivers.

In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded by her husband, Gilbert Windsor; two sons, Doug Windsor and Michael Windsor and three grandchildren, Jennifer Windsor, Chad Case and Tiwanna Hiott.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Barbara Case (Terry); her grandchildren, Tonya Compton (Mark), Angela Parsons (Patrick), Amy Gregory (Marc), Jamie Windsor, Scottie Windsor, Bryan Windsor (Alacey), Jessica Windsor and Ashley Turnmire (Josh).

She is further survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Troutman Funeral Home.

The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. John Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kaden Eklund, Zac Compton, Scotty Windsor, Bryan Windsor, Skylar Windsor and Bladen Windsor.
