Linda Elaine Burchette Campbell, 55, of Statesville, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Hospital to be with the Lord. Her faith in God never wavered and now she can rest in God’s arms. Heaven got their Angel back. Mrs. Campbell was born March 30, 1956 in Iredell County to the late James David and Lucille Moose Burchette. She was a cosmetologist. She is survived by her husband, William L. Campbell, of the home; a stepson, Gabriel Campbell (Renee) of Cary; a daughter, Lisa Levan of California; a stepdaughter, Amy Rohe (Allen) of Scottsdale, AZ.; a brother, Michael Burchette (Tammy) of Harmony; and three grandchildren, Samantha and Julia Rohe and Beckham Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda B. Anderson. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Joe Dellinger and Fred Shoemaker officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Iredell Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice and the 4th floor nurses of Iredell Memorial Hospital for all the kindness and loving care they gave to their wife and mother.
