Linda Carol (Brewer) Barker

Mrs. Linda Carol Brewer Barker, 70, of Union Grove, passed away, Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Linda was born December 2, 1949 in Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Ulysses and Lessie Church Brewer. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School, class of 1969 and is married to Hasel Grey Barker for 42 years. She previously worked for Firefly Balloons and later received her CNA degree and worked on the 4 ^th Floor N at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by two children, Teresa Holbrook (Jack) of Statesville, Robbie Barker (Tracy) of Union Grove; six grandchildren, Holly and Grace Holbrook, Colt, Taylor, Cody and Caleb Barker and two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Taylor Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Philip Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends following the service.
