Lillie worked at Beauty Maid Mills for 29 years as an inspector and stock manager, and she performed many other roles at the plant, including serving as a telephone operator.
She later became a self-taught manager of Attitudes & Undies for 18 years, building a faithful rapport with her customers. She also worked at North Middle School for six years, part-time at Sister Consignment for Maggie Mash, and spent one year working part-time at a consignment store downtown.
In addition to her parents, Lille was preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Poole.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Rickey Poole (Lynn); special friend, Ronnie Williams; several cousins, along with Larry McIntosh, who was like a brother, and special friend, Jody Parsons
