July 25, 1947 - March 17, 2015 Mr. Lewis Edward Williams, 67, of Statesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He was born on July 25, 1947, in Barnwell County, SC., to the late Pearline and Jimmy Williams. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Dodgens Williams of Statesville; daughters, Sharon Elaine (Shay) Collins of Charlotte, Marianne Elizabeth Messer of Statesville, Anne Williams of Statesville, Julie (Eddy) Stillwell of Kannapolis, Deborah Tirpak of Statesville and Gamila AlSadat of Charlotte; sisters, Helen (Mark) Novitsky of Georgia, Bobbie Jean (Sonny) Proveaux of South Carolina, and Sarah Seabald of Oregon; brother, Randy Williams of South Carolina; 13grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death his sister, Jeanette Blackwell; and brother, Fred Williams The family will receive friends Friday, March 20, 2015 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dermont Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte, NC
