Lester Forrest Arrington

Lester Forrest Arrington, 76, of Statesville, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, at his home.

Lester was born December 13, 1949, in Iredell County to the late Elmer Forrest Arrington and Irene Millsaps Arrington. He was a barber for over 50 years and the owner of Brookdale Hair Center. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Karen Sharpe Arrington.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Russell Arrington (Jenny); daughter, Krystal Arrington; sister, Valerie Hobbs (Larry).

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 14 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Hill officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
