Laura Sprinkle

Laura Ann Harris Sprinkle, 78, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Laura was born on February 19, 1947, in Iredell County, to the late Edgar Lee “Sonny” “Pop” Harris, Sr. and Iva Jean Rhymer Harris. She was a graduate of Cool Springs High School and a member of Cornerstone ARP Church. She enjoyed golf, tole painting, bingo, dominoes and playing games with her family.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Harris Moose, and grandson, Ethan Hess.

Those left to cherish Laura’s memory are her husband of 57 years, Dennis Paul Sprinkle; son, Rodney Edwards (Lisa); daughters, Laurie Sprinkle Glascock (Jeff) and Anneliese Sprinkle Tate (David); son, Scott Sprinkle (Heather); grandchildren, Tate Hess, Savanna Sprinkle, Ella Glascock, Hudson Glascock, Nicole Boles (Palmer), Matthew Furr, Sharon Edwards Carver (Thomas), Ashley Edwards, Shelby Edwards McCoy and Brandyn Edwards; great-grandchildren, Tommy and Tristan Carver, Nolan, Ariana and Autumn McCoy, and Crew Furr; brother, Edgar Lee Harris, Jr. (Barbara); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 17, at Troutman Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
