Laura Gail Nash Jordan

Laura Jordan, 67, of Statesville North Carolina, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026. She was born in Statesville, NC, and was the daughter of the late Stephen W Nash, Jr. and Emily Nash.

She attended West Iredell High School and worked in the Iredell School System until she stepped away to focus on caring for loved ones. Laura brought an infectious positivity to every day and was a source of hope and strength for those around her. She was a natural caretaker with an open heart for the vulnerable and an unwavering love for people and animals —whether it be a stray calf or anyone needing a helping hand.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Watt (Bud) Nash Jr., and a son Jonah Jordan.

Laura is survived by her mother Emily Nash, husband Randy Jordan, brother Scott Nash, son Chauncy (Meredith) Jordan, grandson Benjamin Jordan, and niece Myranda (Cody) Crews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 31, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Burgess officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the New Sterling ARP Church Cemetery.
