Larry Scott Karriker

May 27, 1968 - April 11, 2017 Larry "Scott" Karriker, 48, of Troutman, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Scott was born on May 27, 1968 in Iredell County. He was always kind to everyone, and could always make people laugh. He loved to go fishing and spend time with his family. He will always be remembered for being a devoted son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his mother, Shelby Jean Murdock Karriker; father, Steve Karriker and step-mother, Nelly; sisters, Sherry Karriker Brown and Susan Karriker Privette; uncle, Dennis Karriker, nieces, Rebecca Privette and Hannah Brown, and nephews, Zachary Privette and Noah Brown. The family will receive friends at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. David Troutman officiating.
