Kevin Duane Pearce

March 27, 1961 - May 2, 2018 Kevin Duane Pearce, 57, met his Savior on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Kevin was born on March 27, 1961 in Baton Rouge, LA to Julia Smitherman Pearce and the late Clarence Dale Pearce. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Marsha; daughters, Master Sergeant Ashley (Wichard) Pearce Bosgraaf of Warner Robins, GA and Jessie (Sonny) Lynn Pearce of Savannah, GA; mother, Julia Pearce of Walker, LA; brothers, Timothy (Pamela) Dale Pearce of Harmony and Gregory (Laura) Alan Pearce of Walker, LA; grandchildren, Isla-Ann Bosgraaf and Sonny Luka, Jr.; and six nieces and nephews. Kevin was a loving husband, father, Papaw, son, brother and friend who was on a first name basis with Jesus and talked with Him every night. He had a dry sense of humor that all who knew him enjoyed and was an avid fisherman and hunter. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matt Munday officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 3:00 p.m. at their home in Mooresville. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kevin’s memory may by made to St. Jude’s Childrens’ Research Hospital.
