Kenneth Ray Johnson, 75, of Statesville, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Gordon Hospice House.

Kenneth was born on January 14, 1951, to the late Warren Harding Johnson and Lucille Bell Johnson. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He retired from Dana as a machine operator.

He loved New York Yankees baseball and enjoyed going to baseball games. He loved traveling with his wife, Crystal, and loved books on history.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Crystal Connor Johnson; three sisters, Patricia Donaldson, Louise Cook and Avis Little; five nephews, David Cook (Crystal), Damon Cook (Kendy), Derrick Cook (Shelly), Josh Little (Ana), and Lee Donaldson (Brandice); and one niece, Patti Ayers (Mike).

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Darren Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Troutman Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County or Hebron Baptist Church.
