Kenneth Ray Goodman

Kenneth Ray Goodman, age 88, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on February 10, 2023. He was the husband of Nancy Goodman and the son of the late William Franklin and Mildred Harmon Goodman.

Her was a graduate of Harmony High School and attended Mitchell Community College. Kenneth was self-employed as a real estate appraiser. He loved to fly both airplanes and hot air balloons. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Grant Goodman; two sons, Michael (Alice) Goodman and Kim Jay Goodman; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, Carroll (Mary Lou) Goodman; one sister-in-law, Joyce Goodman; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Franklin K. Goodman and one daughter-in-law, Wendy Goodman.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 11:00 am at Friendship United Methodist Church in Olin with Rev. Bobby Lorton and Rev. Don Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the church.
