Kelly Amanda Head

Kelly Amanda Head, 53, of Troutman, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem.

Kelly was born October 30, 1971, in Iredell County to James Harold “Jim” Head and Charlene Bundy Head. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School. She attended Lenoir Rhyne College; Mitchell Community College and she graduated with honors from Gardner Webb University. She worked for the Department of Social Services in Child Protective Services/Child Support Division.

Left to cherish Kelly’s memory are her parents, Charlene Head and Jim Head (Susan); husband, Joe Teague; brothers, Tim Head and Brandon Head (Michelle) of Statesville; sister, Jodi Glen (Mike) of Pelion, SC; nieces and nephews, Garison, Dalton, Raelynn Head, Landon Anderson, Easton Head, Grady Glen, Pryce Glen, Alex Teague and Tiffany Thrasher; special aunt, Fran Munday; uncle, Bill Bundy; fur babies, Pebbles, Kaycee, Bundy, Sophy, Macie, Alfie and Lily.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 23 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Dieter Punt officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 225 Morgan Street, Troutman, NC 28166.
