Kathy Lynn Totten Roles

Kathy Lynn Totten Roles, 57, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at her home.

Kathy was born on September 18, 1968, in Williamson, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Garfield Totten Jr. and Gladys Dotson Totten. She was a graduate of Van High School in Van, West Virginia, and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Kathy had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved kitties, and she cherished her family above all else.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shannon Totten and her ex-husband, Jimmy Roles.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son. “Chazz” Gilmore; grandson, Preston Gilmore; granddaughter, Kailey Gilmore; sisters, Joanna Adkins (Todd) and Christy Presnell (Mark); nieces, Chelsea Dunn (Chris) and Allison Staten; nephew, Corey Staten; great-niece, Becklee Dunn; special friend, Scotty Toler and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There are no services planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to offset the expense of funeral services.
