March 21, 1928 - May 4, 2013 Kathleen "Kath" Bell Honeycutt Seibert, 85, formerly of Denver, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Brian Center of Mooresville. She was born in Iredell County on March 21, 1928 to the late Andrew Jessie and Della Freeze Honeycutt. Kathleen was active in her church and enjoyed quilting and teaching others to quilt. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret H. Neel of Denver and Dorothy H. Brown of Huntersville; brother, Pete (Barbara) Honeycutt of Troutman; twin brother, Gene (Phyllis) Honeycutt of Troutman; step-daughters, Lou (Wayne) Leathers of Durham and Marty Seibert of Florida; step-grandchildren, Tim (Tina) Leathers and Traci (Bryan) Ashley; 10 great grandchildren; and 5 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Rogers Seibert. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Ingle officiating. Interment services will follow at Westport Baptist Church cemetery in Denver. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westport Baptist Church, 2372 Lake Shore Rd. S, Denver, NC 28037.
