Thelma Juanita Osborne Mosley, 74, of Troutman, went into eternal rest at her home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was born in Buchanan County, Virginia on December 11, 1943 to the late Thomas Osborne and Rosie Webb Osborne. Juanita will always be remembered for her outgoing and outspoken personality. She adored her Jack Russell terriers. Juanita was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord most of all in her life. She was a member of Mountain Road Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold McDonald Mosley; two sisters, Frances Hall and Opal Reedy; and two brothers, Jess Osborne and Perry Osborne. She is survived by her son, Johnny (Linda) Mosley of Troutman; grandson, Jason Mosley of Charlotte; sisters, Willis (Harold) Music, Sue Clifton, Diane (Larry) Smith, Carmie Elswick, and Alafair (Ted) Dusseau, and brothers, Mack (Lois) Osborne, Harold (Peggy) Osborne, Sherman (Fay) Osborne, Tommy (Lois) Osborne, Alvin (Jackie) Osborne, and Estil (Lila) Osborne. The family will receive friends at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jamie Fox officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Greenhills Memory Garden. In lieu of flowers, donations in Juanita’s memory may be made to Mountain Road Baptist Church, 132 Compton Park Road, Statesville, NC 28677. Troutman Funeral Home is entrusted with the local arrangements for Juanita Mosley.
