Joyce (Feimster) Lambert

Mrs. Joyce Feimster Lambert, 90, of Statesville, passed away, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Gordon Hospice House.

Mrs. Lambert was born April 3, 1929 in Olin, NC and was the daughter of the late Paul Feimster and Bertha Smith Feimster. She was a graduate of Harmony High School and on September 20, 1947, she married the late Edward “Ed” Watson Lambert. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and was retired from J.C. Penney Distribution Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Amy Lambert Gallliher (Billy) of Statesville; one granddaughter, Courtney Galliher McLain (Ben) of Statesville; two great granddaughters, Rosie and Raven McLain; one niece, Brilla Weisner (Larry Raker) of Olin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Flack officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends following the service. Active pallbearers will be David Childers, Skip Cress, Ben McLain, Mark Connell, Eddie Sipes and Larry Raker.
