Josh Fred Schneider

Joshua Fred Schneider, 70, formerly of Statesville, died Monday, October 7, 2019, in the Philippines where he had made his home in recent years. Josh was born March 16, 1949 in Berth Amboy, NJ and was the son of Jacquie Braverman Schneider Homesley of Statesville and the late Albert Schneider.

In addition to his mother and step-father, T.C. Homesley, Jr., he is survived by his wife, Miriam, a daughter, Lilla S. Ford of Hickory, NC, a son, Sam Schneider of Vale, CO and a grandson, Cameron Ford of Hickory, NC. He is further survived by two sisters, Cissi S. McPherson (Harry) and Jennifer S. Brinkley (Bill) both of Statesville, along with a step-brother, Clifton W. Homesley (Fariba) of Mooresville, NC and a step-sister, Blair H. Hawley (Jason) of Charlotte, NC. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

A family service will be conducted at a later date.
