Joseph E. Mullis

Joseph E. Mullis, 79, of Olin, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024.

He was a graduate of Union Grove High School and served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from Holly Farms, where he worked as a truck driver. He was a farmer and was a cowboy at heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Graham and Kate Mullis, and sister, Brenda LaCount.

Those left to cherish his memory are brother-in-law, C. Lewis LaCount; niece, Nikki Brandt (Britt); nephew, Clyde Lewis LaCount II; sister, Teresa Smith (Jeff); nephews, Bryan Smith (Megan), and Tyler Smith; niece, Sarah Smith; horse, Pumpkin.

A graveside service and burial will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 2:30 pm at the VA Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
