Jose Chalita Bruzual

Jose Chalita Bruzual, 83, of Troutman, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Mitchell Mack Hospice House.

Jose was born June 22, 1941, in Porlamar, Isla de Margarita, Venezuela, to the late Jose Chalita Souber and Providencia Bruzual de Chalita. He was a graduate of Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) and he worked as an anesthesiologist at Hospital de Clinicas Caracas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carmen Moreno de Chalita; daughters, Ingrid Chalita and Miriam Chalita-Dorta; sons-in-law, Luis Dorta and Eduardo Dorta; grandson, Jose Ignacio D’Alta; granddaughters, Manuela Dorta Chalita, Emilia Dorta-Chalita, Julia Dorta-Chalita, and Paula Dorta- Chalita.

Funeral mass will be held at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, June 11 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville, NC.
