John Michael Williamson

John Michael Williamson, 37, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

John was born November 24, 1982 in Iredell County and was the son of Karen Sherrill Williamson of Statesville and the late George Eugene Williamson, Jr. He was a graduate of South Iredell High School, class of 2000 and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. On November 9, 2013, he married Clinique “Nicole” Harris and he was currently working at Lowes Corp. in Mooresville. He loved his family, friends and enjoyed his hobbies.

In addition to his wife and mother, John is survived by two sisters, Jessica W. McCurdy (Chad) of Statesville, Alexis W. Lambert (Kris) of Statesville; one brother, Tom Williamson of Statesville; four nieces, Miranda McCurdy, Chloe Lambert, Charley Williamson, Harper Williamson; two nephews, Austin McCurdy, Jakob Lambert and four cats, Tyler, Sam, Dora and Honey.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm at 156 Beech Brook Lane, Statesville, NC 28625.
