John Howell Gordon

John Howell Gordon, 65, of Troutman, North Carolina and New Fairfield, Connecticut died peacefully at his home in Troutman on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

John was born in the Bronx, NY on December 23, 1956; a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Hughes) Gordon. He was raised in Stamford, CT and spent weekends and summers in New Fairfield. In his early years, John developed a love for building and carpentry which he turned into a career he loved.

John and Sue moved to Lake Worth, FL in 1987 and lived there until 2019 when they moved to Troutman, NC. Before his passing John completed a long-time goal of building a home for his entire family to live in. When his family was happy, he was happy.

John is survived by his wife, Suzanne, and their two children: Patrick Gordon and Sarah Fuchs, and her husband, Wesley. John is also survived by his grandchildren; Noah and Ruby, his brother; Kevin, his nephews; Andrew and Kyle, and his niece, Ellen.

Funeral services and interment were held privately.
