Johann (Overcash) Fox

Johann Overcash Fox, 81, of Statesville, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Cadence Senior Living in Mooresville.

Johann was born on September 18, 1941, in Iredell County to the late Howard Overcash and Margaret Beaver Overcash. She was a retired teacher’s assistant and nanny and loved being able to teach children. Johann also had a special place in her heart for all animals.

In addition to her parents, Johann was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Neil Fox and her daughter, Susan Fox.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Tim Fox (Beth), brothers, Michael Overcash (Linda), Garry Overcash (Margie) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Also surviving her are the many children she loved dearly over her twenty years as a nanny.

Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Wednesday, December 21 at Berea Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Draughn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
