Joanne Helen (Pearce) Triplett

Joanne Helen Pearce Triplett, 80, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born July 9, 1938 in Medford, MA., she was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Anna Mae Hupfer Pearce.

Joanne retired from Lake Norman Reality where she was a real estate broker. She was a wonderful mother, a leader and a business woman who always reached out a hand to help others even when hers were already full.

Joanne is survived by 2 sons: William Triplett and wife Amy of Puerto Vallarto, Mexico, Timothy Triplett and financeAnisa of Atlanta, GA; and a daughter, Michelle Triplett Selvey and husband Adam of Statesville, NC; 3 granddaughters: Emma Selvey, Sydney Wilcox and Sara Triplett; 2 grandsons: Timothy Triplett and Patrick Wilcox; 2 sisteres: Patricia P. Lally of Southborough, MA and Claire P. Keene of Mattapoisett, MA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 7, 2019 in the chapel at Troutman Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Mullis officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home; and further receiving at the Selvey home, 372 Baymount Dr., Statesville, NC 28625.
