Joanne (Hicks) Mcdaniel

Joanne Hicks McDaniel, 66, of Troutman, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Gordon Hospice House.

Mrs. McDaniel was born in Asheboro, NC, August 9, 1956, the daughter of the late Clyde Hicks and Edna Holbrook. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Hicks.   Joanne attended North Iredell High School and was retired from JC Penney Warehouse.

Those left to cherish Joanne’s memory include her husband of 43 years, Tommy McDaniel, her daughter, Debra Dianne McIntosh (Ellery), her son, Ronnie Dee Weatherman, Jr., her granddaughters, Destiny McIntosh and Emily McIntosh, her twin sister, Diane Lucas (James) and sister, Lynn Bryant (Mitchell) and several beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Joanne McDaniel will be conducted 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will visit with friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service.  Burial will follow the funeral service at Iredell Memorial Gardens.  Online condolences may be made to the McDaniel family at www.troutmanfuneralhome.com
